Shakopee Derby Days 2008 Sponsorship Information
We are contacting you on behalf of the Shakopee Derby Days Fundraising Committee (an independent, volunteer committee). The Derby Days celebration will take place July 31st to August 3rd. Our committee is seeking your support to help make this year's event a success!
The 2008 festival will be extra exciting this year! We are moving to the newly finished Huber Park, located downtown off of First Avenue and Filmore Street. The parade route is changing to Fourth Avenue and the fireworks are changing to Saturday night at Huber Park. See our Web site for more details.
The Derby Days celebration attracts over 13,000 people of all ages from the area and takes approximately $48,000.00 to run. Our festival will again feature over 45 events including The Taste of Shakopee, Family Fun Park, street dance, soapbox derby race, 5K run, parade, fireworks and much, much more.
