Shakopee Derby Days 2011 Community Picnic
Come down to Huber Park for a fun-filled first night of Shakopee Derby Days 2011 on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 5 p.m.
Community Picnic
The Community Picnic will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. Items for sale include:
- Hot Dog (Von Hanson's Old Fashioned Hot Dog on Shakopee Bakery Bun)
- Chips
- Pop
Proceeds from the Community Picnic go to support the Shakopee Derby Days festival.
Karaoke
FREE Karaoke will take place during the Community Picnic.
Fun, Games, and Face Painting
Also held during the Community Picnic, the Shakopee Football Booster Club and Saber Brothers will put on some FREE games and events:
- Face Painting
- Water Balloon Toss
- Hula Hoop Contest
- Can You Throw Like a Saber QB?
- Relay Races
- Shuttle Races
- Tug of War
- Obstacle Course
Fun, games, and face painting sponsored by the Shakopee Football Booster Club and Saber Brothers.
Pet Fair
Shakopee Community Education's Pet Fair takes place at 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Vendors will feature pet supplies and pet services.
Movie in the Park
Following the Community Picnic, stick around for the Movie in the Park at dusk.
