THIS WILL DEFINITELY BE ENFORCED AGAIN THIS YEAR!

Go east on Fourth Avenue and turn right onto Gorman Street (400 Gorman Street). No entrance off of West Fourth Avenue or Marschall Road.
Designated Set-up Times
Will be given; however, if you feel you need more time you may start no earlier than 11:00 a.m. on parade date. Please note that units are placed as needed and NO spots are guaranteed; however, if you have a circumstance requiring special placement, please note that in your participation form. The Parade Chairperson will make every attempt to accommodate requests for placement; however, there can be no guarantees due to placing various parade units. Parade Chairperson or designee can make line-up changes if necessary.
Animal Unit Clean-up
Due to ongoing problems with the clean up of animal units, we are now requiring a deposit of $50.00 to be paid, BY SEPARATE CHECK, made payable to Shakopee Derby Days, upon sending in your registration. No units with animals will be allowed to enter into the parade on parade day without paying this deposit. Your original check may be reclaimed from the Parade Chair or designee, upon their inspection and approval of the cleanliness of your immediate staging area. If it is determined that your staging area is in its original condition, your check will be returned to you. If not satisfactory, you will have one attempt to rectify it. After that, we will have our clean up company sweep that area and they will be given the funds from those deposits not returned due to lack of proper clean-up.
PLEASE keep in mind that the areas we are using for staging are local departments, and in order for us to maintain a good rapport with them, we must make all attempts to return their lots to their original state. The parade day is a busy time for us all, and if even one unit does not clean up their area, this can cause a hardship for everyone involved. Thank you for your help and understanding in this matter.
