Shakopee Derby Days 2012 Market Fair
The Shakopee Derby Days Committee would like to invite artists, antique dealers, crafters and novelty sellers to our annual Shakopee Derby Days festival.
Derby Days events will be held in picturesque Huber Park, on the Minnesota Riverfront in downtown Shakopee. The community of Shakopee came out in full force again last year to make our celebration another great success. The dates for the 2012 fair are Friday, August 3 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 4 from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Spaces are 10' x 10' and the cost is $35.00 per day or 10' x 20' for $55.00 per day. Electricity is an additional $10.00 per day. (We do not furnish chairs, tables, tents, or tent weights.)
All entries must be received by July 14, 2012 or a $25.00 surcharge will apply, as we must coordinate all spaces with our other events. Payment and completed ST19 form (available at http://taxes.state.mn.us/sales/Documents/st19.pdf) must be included with the market fair entry form before a vendor will be considered. No refunds will be issued after a vendor is accepted.
There will not be parking available in the immediate market fair area so plan to park on the city streets. All set-ups MUST be completed by 2:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
If you are using a canopy, and we suggest that you do, please make sure to have a plan to anchor your canopy in case of strong winds. We have had instances of fly-away canopies in the past.
Participants may take down their shows each night, if desired, as there is no security provided. All previous exhibitors will be given preference on products allowed. Please understand there is bound to be SOME overlap. We also reserve the right to reject any items deemed a nuisance or offensive, such as: fireworks, stink bombs, marshmallow shooters, etc.
The Shakopee Derby Days Committee reserves the right to not accept any vendor for any reason.
NEW this year: Vendors submitting complete market fair materials prior to the July 14 deadline and approved as a market fair vendor will be included on the Shakopee Derby Days Market Fair vendor listing on the Shakopee Derby Days Web site.
