Shakopee Derby Days is Shakopee's annual community festival, organized and run by an independent all-volunteer non-profit organization. Shakopee Derby Days celebrates its 25th year in 2012, with the festival being held Aug. 1-5.
The Shakopee Derby Days Committee is seeking volunteers to chair or coordinate certain aspects of the Shakopee Derby Days festival, as well as serve on committees.
Particular areas in need of assistance include:
Logistics Help
Help with logistics prior to and during the Derby Days festival.
Fundraising Committee
Serve on the Shakopee Derby Days Fundraising Committee, which is tasked with brainstorming and implementing ways to raise funds to support the Shakopee Derby Days festival.
Publicity Committee
Serve on the Shakopee Derby Days Publicity Committee, which is tasked with promotion of the Shakopee Derby Days festival.
